Lionhead Bunnies

i have been extremely busy with college work lately, so I have not been able to really work on my breeding program at this time.  I have a very nice start to work on as soon as I have the time to start breeding and working with the litters.  Nevertheless, my sister Barb has been quite busy on her breeding program.  She has had many new "Lions" born and has some extremely promising show stock ready to go for the last show of the year.  Below are our current litters and Lionheads for sale.  

We currently have 4 litters of baby Lionheads and two more due any day now.  Barb's oldest litter is out of her outstanding blue buck, Blossom Acres’ Royal Blue and Weber’s BA1 “Burnt Sienna”.  There are three does and one buck, “Blossom Acres Peppercorn” a chocolate doe that it being retained, “Blossom Acres’ Majestic Blue” a blue doe that is being kept, “Blossom Acres’ Milky Way” a ruby eyed white doe that is being sold, and “Blossom Acres’ Blazing Star” a lilac tort buck that is currently being debating (keep or sell?).  This litter turned out beautifully and all of the babies have outstanding body type - AND - our very first lilac tort! 

For the other litters, two are about the same age, Leo 9’s Luna X Leo 9’s Le Petit Prince and Blossom Acres’ Sand-n-Shore X Blossom Acres’ Royal Blue.  There were a ton of bucks this time around out of the two litters - there was only one doe!  Luna has four kits, all sable points with the only doe and Sand-n-Shore has a blue and a blue tort.  Barb will definitely have two sable point bucks and the blue tort buck for sale, and the others she is going to watch develop. 

The last litter is brand new and is out of Blossom Acres’ Stainless Steel – a Siamese sable, and Leo 9’s Manistique, a sable point.  There are two babies that look like REWs and/or sable points.  We are really excited about this litter, as the parents both complement each other perfectly. 

The litters due soon are Black Bean to Shadow and Cocoa is to Royal Blue.  Whiskey is also bred to Royal Blue and due later. 

For Sale

Blossom Acres’ Butternut – an orange just-turned-senior Lionhead doe.  She is very sweet and gentle and is the perfect pet.  $25

Blossom Acres’ White Chocolate – a ruby eyed white junior Lionhead doe.  She is genetically a chocolate and is an outstanding doe.  She has the best qualities of her mom and dad and I think she would do exceedingly well on the show table.  $65

Blossom Acres’ Ladybug – a broken red/orange junior Netherland Dwarf doe.  I am selling Ladybug as a pet, but she could be bred.  She has the most incredible rufus and brightness to her color and nice broken blanket patterning.  Ladybug has an adorable personality and loves attention.  $20
